"Joanne is a powerful negotiator, who is well regarded in the industry for her professionalism, market insights, and impressive credentials," said Howard M. Lorber, Chairman of Douglas Elliman Real Estate. "Joanne broke the record for the first condo sale over $10,000 per square foot at 15 Central Park West. It was miles beyond any other sale and changed the Manhattan market and skyline."

With a great capacity for innovative thinking, branding, and marketing, joined with her outstanding financial and investment skills from her former career in the design, marketing, and manufacturing of innovate sporting accessories, Joanne then looked to combine her greatest passions; architecture, design, and, most especially, real estate. Consistently in the top 1% producing agents in the country, Joanne is a sought after speaker. She was recently a guest speaker, with her co-author, brother, and colleague at The Princeton Club. They also were invited to speak at a top tier broker and client book launch event on the 92nd floor of 432 Park; the book, NEGOTIATING NEW YORK, LIFE LOVE & THE PURSUIT OF REAL ESTATE, for which Barbara Corcoran, star of SHARK TANK, wrote the foreword. Joanne and Alfred, who carefully choose speaking engagements, have both spoken with Barbara, they now speak at Elliman company events country wide, and have been featured on Good Day New York.

"Joanne's dynamic team, includes her partner and another sibling, Donna Renna, team members Barbara Levey, Nick Polihros, Mary Kirby, and her personal driver, Eduardo Lareche. Joanne specializes in the sales and marketing of luxury properties in Manhattan. She has worked with developers on schedule A's, has successfully launched and marketed rental to condo conversions. She and her partner are currently on the sales team of HFZ's most beautiful building, The Astor.

"Joanne and Donna are a powerhouse of talent," says Dottie Herman, CEO of Douglas Elliman Real Estate. "These superstars have a loyal base of clients and a very strong referral business, which speaks to how respected and trusted they are as advisers to their customers."

Joanne is a partner in various real estate enterprises and her portfolio includes apartment complexes and investments in vacation homes. "My entire life is real estate, design, and architecture," says Joanne, "I get to work with my family in real estate and I'm a published author with a book about an inside look at real estate." Along with her fiance, high end builder James Paul Joplin, Joanne is just completing her own summer weekend home in the Village of Southampton, where she has had a hand in every aspect of layout and design. Joanne and James also live in the midst of billionaires' row of Manhattan's west 50's. She is the founder and leader of The Douglas Team of Douglas Elliman, Members of the Pinnacle Award and who have closed nearly $2 Billion in sales
